Rewrite Site Admin Area To Php  E-mail
Wednesday, 08 July 2009 14:44
I have a site that we are in the process of migrating from ASP to PHP and I need some help changing the site from ASP to PHP. This a lead management system for an office, so there are a couple of different users who either have basic access or full admin access (full admins can access all the tabs). There are around 250 different .asp files that are part of the admin and a few .aspx files. This should all be streamlined in the new system. I can post screen shots of the what the web-based system looks like on PMB. Here is what we have to work with. 1. Access to current system via web interface. You can log in as a user or admin to see the difference. 2. The current .asp files. 3. A .bak file from the database (note: I've been trying unsuccessfully to migrate it from one server to another, but that may just be my lack of asp skills). 4. A .sql file that has the database structure that is currently being used in SQL (part of this project will be transitioning that to MySQL. For this project, we will just stick with a direct transfer of the site (matching current function, layout, database structure, etc.) We may do a future project where we add features, change design, and so on. Need a QUICK turnaround on this. (Like, in a couple of days).
