I have aMember installed on my site. What I need is a way to accept credit cards online easily and safely. It is a monthly membership site I'm running, so the merchant company or whatever they are will need to be able to integrate recurring billing, and the company will also have to be compatible with aMember.
I must warn you, this will not be an easy job. I do NOT live in the states. I live in S.Korea where they make it very hard (actually impossible I'd say) to hook my bank account to any kind of online money making thing. So please take that into consideration before accepting this job.
I am very close to the OFFICIAL launch of my project, and I've been pulling all the hair out of my head for the last few weeks trying to figure this out and find someone who can help me.
I am currently using paypal and DO NOT LIKE THEM for a few reasons. First, they make my members join Paypal, which wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that they put my potential customer's credit card into verification mode for 3 days - or longer- before they'll let them actually buy. Then, to make things worse, once the customer's card has been verified, it doesn't automatically put them through the system. In fact, nothing happens. It's as if the person did nothing. They actually have to go back to my sales page and sign up just like they did before. So, I'm not completely against using paypal if these problems can be fixed - perhaps through the use of Paypal Pro or something, but otherwise, I'd prefer something else.
