I have attached an image of what I would like to achieve. This would be almost a clone of the order section of Magento, but with custom fields (probably based on attributes). Admins and vendors would have access to the same purchase order section. Admins would add orders (but there is nothing stopping a vendor from doing the same. Our relationship with vendors is based on trust) Both could edit any field, but it would be an understanding between the admin and vendor that the vendor only edits whats in red (as displayed in the picture). Regular Sales / Orders must not be affected by this section. This would essentially be its own section. An admin would create and order (similar to Sales / Orders) and add line items to that order (as if they were doing it for a customer, but in this case items that the admin wants the vendor to ship to the admin for restocking). When an order is completed by the admin.. A vendor or admin could click to edit the product it would take them to that product's page (similar to clicking a line item in manage products) but they only would be able to see certain editable attributes that have to do with this section: instead of the stock ones such as "price", "weight", "cost", "etc.". It would show "vendor sku", "qty requested", "etc." This is simply a lot of repetition of a few fields of entered data. I have not worked with Magento very much and would love to know how to achieve this. I am really just trying to pay for a general setup of the module + how it is typically done. I am willing to pay mostly for the information on how to achieve it from an experienced programmer (one on one via email within today and tomorrow). I will do most of the work. I need this completed asap! Will paypal the money or send a check. Must be completed today or tomorrow!!!
