Looking for a site based on citysearch.com... Namely, a site that is a guide to restaurants, stores, products, etc. and which allows registered users to rate the restaurant, product or service and even enter reviews, etc. and integrated with Google maps to show locations.
Should allow easy site management, with user-friendly CMS. We can discuss which platform to use, but emphasis should be on flexibility and future growth--scalability is key.
Messageboards and social networking capabilities also needed (citysearch has a social networking component as well). Site architecture should contemplate potential future applications--including a facebook app and iPhone app.
I am fine with using canned code and then customizing it in order to do this quickly and efficiently.
