Position Of Elements On Page  E-mail
Friday, 24 April 2009 18:52
I have created what is so far a very small website. Even though I place items exactly where I want them to appear, they do not line up in the browser. Not only do they not line up in the browser, they line up differently in different browsers. For instance, on the home page (www.newventurestrategies.com): In Dreamweaver, it looks exactly how I want it to look. The “Click on…” line is perfectly in line with the bottom of the logo. When I look at it in IE, it is high. When I look at it in Firefox, it is low. For now, I have inserted another row to my table and it brings it up to a pretty good spot in Firefox, but makes it even higher in IE. Then on the Learn More page (www.newventurestrategies.com/learn.htm): Same story with the line of text just to the right of the logo. But also, if you look at the other info on the page in IE versus, Firefox there is a big difference. Seems like this is something that should be pretty easy to fix? I would like to find someone who can not only fix these issues, but show me how to fix them so that as we move forward with this site, I can line everything else up myself. I am kind of new at this, but I pick things up pretty quickly. Thank you for your time and consideration.
